A short 3-metre 13A power extension cord with a 4-socket outlet block and a 13A mains plug, for keeping power close by at events, desks, shoots and stages.
This is a custom-made power extension cord: a 3-metre flexible cable with a UK 13A Type G plug on the mains end and a block of four UK 13A Type G sockets on the other.
It is built in-house from heavy-duty, locally sourced parts rather than an off-the-shelf branded board, using multi-core copper conductors sized for the full 13A rating (roughly 2990W at 230V).
You plug the single 13A plug into a wall outlet and get four power points right where you are working, so a cluster of nearby devices can share one wall socket without trailing extra leads across the floor.
The 3-metre length is deliberately short: it is a tidy near-power run for a presenter table, a podium, a small stage edge, a workstation or a camera position that sits close to a wall outlet.
Each socket takes standard Sri Lankan square-pin plugs, so laptops, LED lights, small speakers, chargers and other everyday gear all fit.
It is a plain, honest 4-way extension, quick to set up and easy to move between rooms, which is exactly what most events, shoots and office setups need when a single wall point has to feed several small loads at once.
