Give your European-plug gear an extra 3 metres of reach

A 3-metre Schuko (European CEE 7/7, Type F) power extension cable, male plug to female socket, for extending imported European-plug equipment to a nearby outlet at events, shoots and productions.

This is a Schuko power extension cable, three metres long, with a European CEE 7/7 Schuko male plug on one end and a matching CEE 7/3 Schuko female socket on the other.

The plug uses two round pins with side earth clips, so it fits Schuko (Type F) outlets and grounded European gear, not UK 13A three-pin sockets.

It runs on 230V mains and carries live, neutral and protective earth, so earthed European equipment stays safely bonded to ground.

The lead is built on flexible PVC-insulated cable that coils and routes easily along floors, behind racks or across a stage.

In plain terms, it is a short extension lead for European-plug equipment.

You plug the Schuko male end into an outlet, or into a Schuko adapter on a Sri Lankan socket, and your gear's own European power cord into the Schuko female end, adding three metres of reach where the built-in cable falls just short.

It also works as a jumper between two pieces of EU-plug equipment when their fixed cables are too short to meet.

Because both ends are Schuko round-pin and not UK style, it is aimed at imported AV, lighting and computer gear rather than local three-pin appliances.

It is rated for dry indoor use, so keep it away from water and watch that the total wattage of what you connect stays within the cable's rating.
