The UGREEN 6-Outlet Surge Protector Master Switch Extension Code (model S551 / UG-35011) is a premium UK-plug power strip from UGREEN that combines six AC outlets with a built-in 65W GaN fast-charging
Six UK outlets share 2990W at 13A, with 1600J surge protection and a master switch that kills all power in one press.
The built-in GaN hub delivers 65W across two USB-C and two USB-A ports, enough for a laptop and phone together.
Event crews use it to run a presenter laptop, projector, and speakers from one venue socket.
It also suits registration desks charging multiple devices, live-stream rigs with mixed AC and USB gear, and any setup where surge protection matters for cameras, lights, or audio interfaces.
Why Choose This Product
- Externally Powered: Includes a power adapter - needed for active signal boost and longer cable runs.
- 65W GaN USB-C PD: Dual Type-C ports share a 65W Power Delivery budget (5V/9V/12V/15V/3A and 20V/3.25A), enough to fast-charge most USB-C laptops, tablets, and phones from one socket.
- 1600J Surge Protection: 1600-Joule MOV-based surge module with 4kV surge resistance and 1.5kV clamping voltage helps shield connected gear from spikes and line transients.
- Master Switch + Child-Proof Shutters: A single illuminated master switch cuts power to all AC and USB outputs, and every UK socket has safety shutters to block foreign-object insertion.
- Thermal Guard + Overload Protection: Built-in over-temperature, overload, and short-circuit protection circuits trip the strip if internal temperature or current exceeds safe limits.
How Can You Use This
- Laptop to Projector / Display: Connect a laptop or DSLR to a projector, TV, or external monitor at events, classrooms, and meeting rooms.
- Audio Routing for Events: XLR / 6.35mm / 3.5mm cables connect microphones to mixers, mixers to speakers, and instruments to amplifiers.
