A 10-metre 3.5mm stereo aux cable that runs line-level audio from a laptop, phone or mixer to a speaker or mixer across the room. It is tested before every rental, so it just works on the day.
A 10-metre audio cable with a 3.5mm stereo (TRS) male plug on both ends.
It carries left and right line-level analog audio down a single lead, so a source with a 3.5mm headphone or line output can reach a destination with a 3.5mm aux or line input over a long run.
Because both ends are identical, it is bidirectional and plugs in either way round, from any consumer device with a 3.5mm jack.
The 10-metre length is the point of this cable, and it is what sets it apart from the shorter 5-metre version.
Where a shorter aux lead runs out before it reaches the far side, this one spans a room or stage in a single pass, so the source can sit well away from the speaker or mixer with no chain of extensions.
It is shielded to help keep the signal clean over the longer distance, and it is fully passive, so it needs no power, drivers or setup.
It carries stereo audio only, at line level and unbalanced, which suits laptops, phones, tablets, mixers, amplifiers and powered speakers.
Over the full 10 metres in an electrically noisy setup you may pick up a little hum, and for a demanding professional long run a balanced XLR line is the better choice.
