A 300-metre armored fibre optic cable, terminated LC male to LC male on both ends, for hire in Sri Lanka.
It carries a fibre optic signal over a long distance with very low loss, far beyond what copper can do, so you can push a feed hundreds of metres across a large venue, an outdoor shoot or between buildings.
This is a passive fibre optic patch cable that is 300 metres long, with an LC male connector on each end.
It has a rugged armored jacket, a tough metal-braid or steel-tube layer, that resists crushing, rodent damage and rough handling.
That armor is what makes it suited to long temporary runs laid on the ground at events, outdoor shoots and cable pulls between buildings, where a standard fibre jacket would be too fragile.
Because it carries light rather than an electrical signal, it moves data a very long distance with very low loss. It has no power and no audio of its own, so it is used with a fibre extender or converter at each end.
The exact fibre mode (single-mode or multi-mode) is confirmed on request, so you can match it to your extender or equipment before you book.
