The Behringer DI20 Ultra-DI is an active 2-channel direct injection box and signal splitter you can hire for live events, recording sessions and stage setups.
It takes an unbalanced instrument or speaker-level signal and turns it into a clean balanced XLR feed that your mixing console can accept cleanly over a long cable run.
The Behringer DI20 is an active DI box with two channels.
It converts unbalanced instrument or speaker-level signals into balanced XLR mic-level signals, so a keyboard, guitar, laptop or amplifier output plugs cleanly into a mixing console over long cable runs.
Its frequency response runs from 10 Hz to 70 kHz (-3 dB) with a 600 ohm output impedance.
Because it is active, it runs on a 9V battery or +18 to +48V phantom power from the desk.
It has -20 dB and -40 dB input pads to match hot sources, a ground-lift switch to kill hum, and it can handle speaker-level inputs up to 3000 W.
It also works as a splitter, sending one source to two destinations such as front-of-house and a recorder. The metal chassis weighs about 0.24 kg and measures 150 x 130 x 60 mm.
