Question 1

What's included when you rent the Behringer X32?

Accepted Answer

You get 01 x Behringer X32 digital mixing console and 01 x power lead. Stage boxes, microphones, cables, monitors and speakers are not included, so bring your own or rent them from us as a full package.

Question 2

How many channels can the X32 mix?

Accepted Answer

The X32 handles 40 input channels across 25 mix buses, with 32 built-in MIDAS-designed mic preamps and 16 XLR outputs. That is enough for a full live band, a choir, backing tracks and speech at the same time.

Question 3

Do I need an engineer to operate it?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The X32 is a professional console with deep routing, EQ, dynamics and effects, so it needs someone trained to run it well. We can arrange a sound engineer on request through our operator booking, or your own engineer can use it.

Question 4

Can I mix from an iPad or phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The X32 has free X32-Mix and X32-Q apps for iPad, iPhone and Android over its own network. An engineer can walk the room, tune monitor wedges and set the PA and effects wirelessly from a tablet.

Question 5

Can I record the show with it?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The X32 has a built-in 32x32 USB audio interface, so you can multitrack the whole event straight into a Mac, PC or Linux DAW for a live album, a virtual soundcheck or a podcast.

Question 6

Can I save my settings between events?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The console stores full scenes, so your entire mixer state can be recalled instantly for rehearsals, repeat shows and theatre cues. This makes multi-day and touring setups far faster.

Question 7

What effects and processing does it have?

Accepted Answer

The X32 has 8 true-stereo FX engines with studio-grade reverbs, delays and modulation, plus full parametric EQ and dynamics on every channel and bus. You do not need to hire separate outboard racks for most shows.

Question 8

How does it connect to the stage?

Accepted Answer

It uses dual AES50 digital networking to carry many channels of audio over a single shielded CAT5 cable to a compatible stage box, which replaces a bulky analog multicore. It also has Ultranet for personal monitor mixers.

Question 9

Is it heavy or hard to transport?

Accepted Answer

The X32 is a large full-size console and is best moved by two people, ideally in a flight case. Allow space at the mix position and a mains outlet nearby. Our team can advise on the right rack and cabling for your venue.

Question 10

What events is the X32 good for?

Accepted Answer

It suits concerts, festivals, houses of worship, theatre, weddings, corporate AGMs and product launches, school prize-givings and DJ nights. Any event that needs many inputs, recallable scenes and studio-quality sound is a good fit.

Question 11

What ID and deposit do I need?

Accepted Answer

Sri Lankan customers need a valid National Identity Card and a refundable security deposit. Foreign customers need a passport. As a high-value console, the deposit is set to cover the unit, and the renter is liable for any damage or loss.

Question 12

Do you deliver and can I rent a full audio setup?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We deliver same-day in Colombo and suburbs and next-day island-wide. You can rent the X32 with stage boxes, microphones, speakers, monitors and an engineer as one complete package.
