Record two mics into your computer with phantom power

The BOYA BY-AM1 is a compact 2-channel USB audio interface for podcasts, streaming and home recording, with two combo inputs and switchable 48V phantom power.

This is the BOYA BY-AM1, a 2-channel USB 2.0 audio interface, sometimes called a small audio mixer.

It has two combo inputs that each accept an XLR microphone or a 6.35mm (1/4-inch) line or instrument cable, so you can bring in two mics, or a mic and a guitar, at the same time.

Switchable 48V phantom power drives professional condenser microphones with no separate power supply, and up to 50dB of gain brings quiet sources up to a usable level.

Audio is converted at 24-bit and up to 192kHz sampling with a 100dB signal-to-noise ratio, so recordings and streams stay clean.

A 6.35mm headphone jack lets you monitor what you are capturing in real time, and the interface is USB bus-powered, so a single USB cable both powers it and carries the audio to a Windows or macOS computer with no extra adapter.

The body is a metal and plastic build measuring about 160 x 95 x 40 mm and weighing roughly 383 g, small enough to sit on a desk or travel in a bag.

It is a two-channel unit, so it is built for one or two people rather than a large multi-mic setup, and it needs a computer to run.
