One kit, tripod and monopod in one
A portable ProGear FotoPro X camera tripod that converts into a monopod.
Rent it in Colombo for steady, hands-free shots and quick single-pole shooting on the move, with a ball head, quick-release plate, phone holder and carry bag.
The ProGear FotoPro X is a lightweight, portable aluminium tripod that doubles as a monopod, so one rental covers two jobs.
It stands on four-section legs with a ball head on top and a quick-release plate, and it reaches an estimated maximum height of about 1500mm, folds down to around 420mm and weighs roughly 1.4kg.
It holds an estimated load of up to about 5kg, which comfortably covers smartphones, action cameras and small mirrorless or DSLR bodies.
The included phone holder and standard 1/4 inch quick-release plate let you swap between a phone and a camera in seconds.
The clever part is the conversion. One of the three legs detaches and screws onto the centre column to form a single full-length pole, turning the tripod into a monopod in under a minute with no tools.
The same ball head stays on top, so your framing feels familiar in both modes.
Use the tripod for locked-off, hands-free shots like long exposures, group photos, product video and timelapse, then break it down to a monopod when you need to travel light and keep shots steady while you move at sports, events, street shoots and hikes.
It packs into the included carry bag for easy transport between venues. Specifications here are typical estimates for this class and are confirmed against our own unit before dispatch.
