A universal three-arm wheeled base that turns any camera tripod or light stand into a rolling rig. Lock the casters for a still frame, release them to glide the camera for a moving shot.
Tested before every rental, so it works on the day.
The Weifeng WF-600 is a universal tripod dolly, a three-arm wheeled base that a camera tripod or a light stand sits on so the whole rig can be rolled across the floor instead of lifted and carried.
It is not a tripod itself. It is the rolling platform underneath one.
Built from aluminium tubing, the frame has three arms that spread out to roughly 92cm for a wide, stable footing and fold back down to about 52cm so it packs away and travels easily.
Each arm ends in a 70mm rubber caster with a step-on lock, and the three arms carry adjustable clamps that grip almost any tripod foot or light-stand leg, which is why it is called universal.
In use, you stand your tripod or stand into the three clamps, tighten them, and the dolly turns a fixed setup into a mobile one.
Release the wheel locks and you can glide the camera forward, back, or in an arc for a smooth moving shot. Step the locks down and the rig is planted firmly for a static frame.
It handles a rated load of up to 30kg while weighing only about 2.4kg on its own, so it adds mobility without adding much to carry.
Because it is a purely mechanical accessory there are no batteries, motors, or cabling involved. It simply carries the tripod load onto the casters and locks when you need it still.
