The Weifeng FT-6307 is an aluminium photo and video tripod built around a 3-way pan and tilt head.
Unlike a single ball joint, the 3-way head locks pan, tilt and side-to-side level on separate handles, so you can hold a straight horizon while you pan across a room or tilt up to a stage.
A bubble level helps you set that horizon before the first frame, and the quick-release plate lets you lift the camera off and drop it back on in seconds.
It uses the standard 1/4 inch thread, so most DSLR, mirrorless and camcorder bodies mount straight on.
The three-section aluminium legs use flip locks to extend the working height from about 70cm up to roughly 157cm, with a centre column for fine height tuning, and fold down to around 75cm for easy transport.
The head is rated for a payload up to 3kg, which comfortably covers DSLR and mirrorless kits, small camcorders, smartphone holders and light ring lights.
