The Sirui R-4214X is a heavy-duty tripod support with 4-section legs made from 10-layer carbon fibre tubing, up to 36mm at the widest section.

Carbon fibre gives it the stiffness of a much heavier stand while keeping the body weight down to roughly 2.2kg, which is the whole point of renting it over an aluminium tripod.

Fast twist locks let you deploy or pack the legs quickly, and each leg opens to independent spread angles so you can plant it level on stairs, slopes or uneven ground and drop right down to a 90mm minimum height for low shots.

It reaches a 1500mm maximum height and folds to about 550mm for transport.

Rated to support up to 25kg of gear, it is built for real professional loads: full-frame mirrorless bodies, cinema cameras and long telephoto lenses that would wobble on a lighter stand.

The top platform is a replaceable flat mount that swaps for a 75mm bowl adapter, so it accepts a fluid video head for level pan and tilt as easily as it takes a stills ball head. This is the legs set only.
