The DJI Agras T50 is a large 8-rotor agricultural drone for hire in Sri Lanka, built to spray and spread across plantations, paddy and field crops.
A 40 L tank, 4 to 11 m spray width and RTK precision let one operator cover ground that would take a team days by hand.
The DJI Agras T50 is a heavy-lift agricultural spraying and spreading drone weighing about 39.9 kg empty.
It carries a 40 L spray tank for liquid work and converts to a 75 L spreader for solid granules such as fertiliser, seed or feed on the same airframe.
Dual atomised sprinklers produce droplets from 50 to 500 microns across an effective spray width of 4 to 11 m, flowing up to 24 L/min, so you can tune coverage for different crops and chemicals.
It uses a phased-array radar and binocular vision system for 360-degree obstacle sensing and terrain following, which keeps it steady over uneven plots, slopes and orchard edges.
With RTK enabled it holds plus or minus 10 cm positioning accuracy, so spray runs stay on line with minimal overlap or missed strips.
Power comes from a DB1560 30000 mAh smart battery matched to the airframe, and a full spray payload draws heavily on it, so flight time per charge is short and extra batteries keep the work continuous.
This is a professional field platform for large-scale crop protection, not a hobby or camera drone, and it needs open farm airspace, a trained operator and CAA registration to fly legally in Sri Lanka.
Chemicals, fertiliser and water are not included, so you supply your own mix ready for the field. It rents at Rs 50,000 per day with delivery to the farm or estate.
