The DJI Mini 2 is a sub-249g foldable camera drone that shoots stabilised 4K video and 12MP stills. Rent it in Sri Lanka for weddings, travel, real estate and content shoots, with a trained pilot on request.
The DJI Mini 2 is a compact foldable camera drone that weighs under 249 grams, including battery and propellers, which keeps it in the lightest consumer drone class.
It carries a 1/2.3-inch 12-megapixel CMOS sensor on a true 3-axis mechanical gimbal, recording 4K video at up to 30fps and sharp 12MP stills in both JPEG and RAW.
The gimbal smooths out flight movement, so footage looks steady even in a light breeze.
It flies on DJI's OcuSync 2.0 transmission system, which reaches up to 10 km line of sight and switches automatically between the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands for a stable video link.
A full battery gives about 31 minutes of flight, and Level 5 wind resistance lets it hold position in a moderate breeze.
Return-to-Home, GPS positioning and built-in QuickShots make it approachable to fly, while footage records to a microSD card ready to edit and share from a phone.
The drone folds down small enough to carry in a bag, which is why it is a popular pick in Sri Lanka for wedding and pre-shoot aerials, villa and hotel walkthroughs, beach and hill-country travel clips and real estate listings.
Note that the Mini 2 has no obstacle-avoidance sensors and no subject tracking, so the pilot frames and steers every shot by hand, and it is not waterproof, so keep it away from rain and water.
