The DJI Air 3S is a mid-size camera drone weighing 724 g.
It carries a dual-camera system: a 1-inch CMOS wide camera paired with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS medium-tele camera, giving you two focal lengths in one airframe so you can shift perspective without swapping lenses.
Both cameras record 4K video up to 120fps, and a 3-axis mechanical gimbal keeps footage smooth even in moderate wind or fast turns.
In the air it flies up to 45 minutes per battery, tops around 75 km/h, and streams a live view up to 20 km away over DJI O4 transmission.
Safety and tracking are built in: omnidirectional obstacle sensing with a forward LiDAR sensor for low-light detection, ActiveTrack and Follow-Me subject tracking, and Return-to-Home on low battery or signal loss.
It records to internal storage and a microSD card. Note that it is not waterproof, and at 724 g it is over the 249 g threshold, so commercial use needs CAA Sri Lanka registration.
We test, calibrate and inspect every unit before dispatch, and a trained operator can be booked separately for weddings and commercial shoots.
