The DJI Goggles 2 is a lightweight FPV headset for hire in Sri Lanka, built for immersive drone flying with the DJI Avata and O3 Air Unit. Slip it on and you see a live cockpit view straight from the aircraft.
The DJI Goggles 2 is a compact FPV headset weighing around 290 g that puts you inside the flight.
It uses dual 1080p Micro-OLED screens, one per eye, with a refresh rate of up to 100Hz, 700 nits of brightness and a 51 degree field of view, so the image stays bright, smooth and immersive even outdoors.
A built-in diopter dial adjusts each eye from +2.0 to -8.0 D, which means most short-sighted and long-sighted pilots can fly without glasses.
The live feed arrives over DJI O3+ HD transmission, reaching latency as low as 30ms at 1080p and 100fps, with dual-band 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz radios that hold a steady link in busy signal areas.
A microSD slot lets you record the feed locally, and Wi-Fi DLNA streaming can mirror phone video or play media from the card, so the headset doubles as a private viewing display.
This is a headset only: it has no camera or drone of its own and needs a compatible DJI aircraft such as the DJI Avata or an O3 Air Unit equipped drone to receive video.
Renting it is the sensible way to add an immersive FPV cockpit view to a single shoot or event without buying the full kit.
