The DJI Matrice 4T is an enterprise multi-sensor drone that folds down to travel in its carrying case and lifts off at around 1219 g.
It carries a triple camera, a 48MP wide lens plus a medium telephoto and a tele lens, so you can frame a whole site and then zoom into fine detail on the same flight.
Alongside the visual cameras it has a 640x512 VOx thermal imager for heat mapping and a laser rangefinder that measures distance to a target up to 1800 m.
It flies for up to 49 minutes on a battery and holds position accurately thanks to a standard RTK module that gives centimetre-level positioning for survey-grade work.
The O4 Enterprise link streams live video to the controller over a range rated up to 25 km line-of-sight, and the airframe handles up to 12 m/s wind with a 6000 m service ceiling.
A GNSS receiver that reads GPS, Galileo, BeiDou and GLONASS keeps it steady in the field, and the whole kit ships in a hard carrying case with its remote controller, battery and charger.
In short, it is a professional inspection and mapping tool that captures thermal and visual data together, which is why teams rent it for power line checks, solar audits, construction surveys and search and rescue rather than casual flying.
