The RØDE RODECaster Pro II is an integrated audio production studio that runs a multi-guest podcast, a live stream or a multitrack recording from a single desktop console.
Rent it for a show and skip building a mixer, recorder and interface out of separate boxes.
The RODECaster Pro II is RØDE's flagship audio production console.
In one unit it brings together a broadcast-grade mixer, a multitrack recorder, a sound effects pad and a USB audio interface, all driven from a 5.5-inch high-definition touchscreen with haptic feedback and a rotary encoder.
It gives you nine channels: six broadcast-quality physical faders plus three virtual faders, so you can blend microphones, a computer, a phone caller, wireless mics and the sound pads at the same time.
Four Neutrik combo inputs accept XLR microphones and line or instrument sources, each powered by RØDE's ultra-low-noise Revolution Preamps with up to 76dB of clean gain and switchable phantom power for condenser mics.
On board is a studio-grade APHEX processing suite, including the Aural Exciter, Big Bottom and Compellor, plus per-channel compressor, gate, EQ and de-esser, so voices are polished before they ever reach a recorder.
Eight fully programmable SMART pads with bank switching trigger jingles, beds, stings and effects on cue.
Connectivity is where it stands apart. Dual USB-C interfaces let two computers or mobile devices connect at once, so you can stream on one and record a clean multitrack on the other.
Bluetooth brings a phone caller straight into the mix, and Wi-Fi and Ethernet cover networked and app-based workflows.
A built-in receiver pairs directly with up to two RØDE Series IV wireless transmitters, and four high-power headphone outputs plus balanced 1/4-inch line outs feed a full table of guests and your studio monitors.
It runs on USB-C Power Delivery. This is a production console, so microphones, headphones and a computer are separate and not included, and first-time users should allow a little setup time.
