The TX VX 7000 is a 4-channel Class H professional rack-mount power amplifier.
It supplies the power that passive speakers need, delivering 4 x 1100W into 8 ohm and 4 x 1620W into 4 ohm in stereo across its four independent channels.
Because it has four channels, one unit can drive up to four passive speaker channels at once, for example a pair of tops and a pair of subs, without daisy-chaining several smaller amps together.
Each pair of channels can also be bridged to send extra power to a single demanding load such as a heavy sub.
Signal comes in over balanced XLR and jack inputs from your mixer or audio processor at line level, and goes out to the speakers through Speakon outputs.
The amplifier runs on 230V mains and is built as a rack-mount unit that sits in a standard amp rack or flightcase alongside the rest of your sound rig.
Class H output keeps efficiency high and heat down during long, high-volume programs. It is a power amplifier, so it needs passive speakers, the right speaker cable and an audio source to make sound.
It is not for active or powered speakers, which already have their own amplifier built in. For a big PA rig where consistent headroom across four channels matters, this is the workhorse at the heart of the system.
