A 10-metre VGA cable that carries analog Full HD 1080p video from an older laptop, PC or media player to a ceiling projector or a distant monitor. It is tested before every rental, so it just works on the day.
A 10-metre VGA cable with standard HD15 (15-pin D-sub) male connectors on both ends.
VGA is the long-running analog video standard that carries RGB picture from a computer or media source to a monitor, projector or large display.
This one is shielded to help reject interference over the long run, with captive thumb screws on both plugs so it locks firmly into the source and the screen.
It carries analog video only, up to Full HD 1080p, and lower modes such as 1024x768, 1280x720 and 1440x900.
It does not carry sound or any digital signal, so audio must be routed separately over a 3.5mm, RCA or dedicated audio lead.
The 10-metre length is built for room-scale legacy runs rather than desktop use.
It lets the source machine sit well back from the screen, so it suits a laptop or PC driving a ceiling-mounted projector, or a control table feeding a distant monitor across a hall.
Because the picture is analog over a 10-metre run, very fine text or the sharpest detail can look slightly softer than a short digital HDMI or DisplayPort link, while 1080p and lower modes typically stay clean.
It remains a dependable choice for older projectors and displays that only have a VGA input, and a handy backup signal path when a digital source or display is unavailable.
