How many cameras can this TALLY8 kit support at once?

The PTZCam TALLY8 includes eight wireless tally lights with one host transmitter, so it supports up to eight cameras simultaneously. Each light is two-color (red/green) for program and preview indication.

What is the wireless range, and will it work through walls at a venue?

The system uses 433MHz spread spectrum with up to 1 km range in open conditions. Indoor range varies with walls and interference, so test at your venue during pickup or request a signal check with our team.

How do I mount the tally lights on my cameras?

Each light includes a hot-shoe mount and Velcro backing for flexible attachment to cameras, monitors, or switcher rigs. Bring your own cold-shoe adapters if your setup requires them.

What happens if a tally light battery dies during my shoot?

Lights charge via micro-USB, so bring a power bank or USB hub as backup during long shoots. We do not guarantee specific battery runtime per rental - charge all units before your event and plan for CEB power cuts.
