A 20-metre balanced XLR cable, male to female, that carries a microphone or line signal from the stage back to your mixer with strong noise rejection. It is tested before every rental, so it just works on the day.
A 20-metre balanced audio cable built to the standard 3-pin XLR interface, with an XLR male connector on one end and an XLR female connector on the other.
It carries a balanced analog audio signal, at microphone level or line level, between an XLR source such as a microphone, DI box or mixer output and an XLR input such as a mixing console, powered speaker or audio interface.
It is shielded with gold-plated pins in metal-bodied connectors for a low-noise, reliable contact, and it needs no external power to work.
Balanced wiring is what sets XLR apart. The signal travels on three conductors, hot, cold and ground, and the receiving device cancels out any hum and interference the cable picks up along the way.
That noise rejection is exactly why balanced XLR is the right choice over a long 20-metre run, where an unbalanced cable would collect buzz from nearby lighting and power.
This is the long run in our XLR range, made for distance rather than a short desk patch, so it reaches from the stage back to a mixer at the far end of a hall.
It carries one balanced channel of analog audio only, so it does not handle video, HDMI, digital audio or a stereo pair on its own.
