The Zenmuse H30T is an all-weather gimbal payload built for the DJI Matrice 300 RTK, Matrice 350 RTK and Matrice 400 enterprise drones.
It packs five imaging tools into one IP54-rated 3-axis gimbal that weighs about 0.92 kg and draws roughly 28 W from the airframe.
The wide camera is a 48MP f/1.7 module on a 1/1.3-inch sensor with a 24 mm equivalent lens, while the 40MP zoom camera pairs a 1/1.8-inch sensor with an f/1.6-5.2 lens for 34x optical and 400x hybrid zoom.
The heart of the unit is a 1280x1024 uncooled VOx thermal imager that reads temperatures from -20 C up to 600 C across the 8 to 14 micron band.
A 905nm laser rangefinder measures targets from 3 to 3000 m for geolocation and distance calls, and an 850nm near-infrared light extends the zoom camera into very low light.
The gimbal tilts from -120 to +60 degrees and pans plus or minus 320 degrees, recording to microSD in exFAT. Because it is a payload only, it needs a compatible DJI Matrice drone and a trained pilot to fly.
