It is a Li-ion 4S cell pack rated at 4276 mAh capacity, 14.6 V nominal voltage and 62.5 Wh of energy, weighing about 247 grams.
Under DJI's ideal test conditions it supports up to 45 minutes of flight per charge, among the longest in DJI's prosumer folding-drone class.
Inside the pack sits DJI's intelligent battery management chip, which tracks per-cell voltage, temperature and cycle count, reports state of charge back to the aircraft and the DJI Fly app, and auto-discharges during long storage to protect cell health.
The same pack fits both the Air 3S and the Air 3, so mixed fleets can share spares. It charges through the DJI Air 3S / Air 3 charging hub or a compatible USB-C PD adapter within a 5C to 40C window.
