A 30 metre CAT 6 Ethernet cable with RJ45 plugs on both ends. It carries wired internet and LAN data at up to 1 Gbps, so you can reach a router or switch that sits far away in a hall, office or event venue.
It is tested before every rental, so it just works on the day.
A 30 metre network cable built to the Cat 6 standard, with RJ45 (8P8C) male connectors on both ends.
Plug one end into a router, switch or wall port and the other into a laptop, desktop, access point, IP camera, smart TV or streaming encoder to give it a stable wired connection.
Cat 6 supports 10/100/1000BASE-T at up to 1 Gbps with 250 MHz bandwidth, a clear step up from older Cat 5 and Cat 5e cabling.
The 30 metre run is well inside the 100 metre Cat 6 channel limit, so you keep full gigabit speed. A wired link is steadier than Wi-Fi for streaming, video calls, file transfers and payment terminals in busy venues.
The long length is what makes this cable useful: it stretches across a large room, a ballroom, an exhibition floor or a wide office to reach a network point that would otherwise be out of range.
Paired with an HDMI-over-Cat extender, the same Cat cabling can also carry HDMI or AV video between two rooms, which is handy for signage and projector feeds. It is plug and play and needs no power, drivers or setup.
