A transmitter and receiver kit that sends 1080p HDMI video plus USB keyboard and mouse control up to 120 metres over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable.
The PC stays in one place, the screen and controls go where you need them.
An HDMI KVM extender. KVM means keyboard, video and mouse. The transmitter connects to your source PC and takes in its HDMI output and its USB keyboard and mouse.
It sends everything down one network cable to the receiver at the far end, which drives the display and gives you USB ports for a keyboard and mouse there.
So you can both watch and operate the same computer from as far as 120 metres away.
It carries Full HD 1080p at 60Hz over HDMI 1.3 with HDCP 1.2, and end to end delay stays under 200ms so the cursor and typing feel natural.
Running over a standard Cat5e or Cat6 cable makes it a practical alternative to a long, expensive HDMI run, and it slips neatly through existing structured cabling.
Both ends run from a 5V DC adapter, so you need a power point at each end. The Cat cable that links the two units is usually supplied separately, sized to your run.
