A 10-metre 3G-SDI cable on a hand reel that carries 1080p video from a camera to a switcher, monitor or recorder. It uses locking BNC connectors and is built for live events and multi-camera shoots.

This is a 10-metre 3G-SDI video cable built to the SMPTE 424M broadcast standard, wound onto a hand reel for fast rollout and tidy storage.

It uses a single continuous 75-ohm coaxial core terminated with BNC male connectors at both ends, so it plugs straight into professional SDI gear.

Rated for data rates up to 2.97 Gb/s, it carries uncompressed 1080p video at frame rates up to 60fps, and it can also embed audio inside the same signal. It is a passive cable, so it needs no power.

Because it is an SDI cable with BNC connectors, both the source and the destination must have SDI (BNC) ports; it is not the same as HDMI and will not plug into an HDMI port without a converter.

The 10-metre length suits a camera-to-switcher, camera-to-monitor or camera-to-recorder run across a hall or studio floor, and the reel keeps it kink-free between jobs.
