The Blackmagic Design ATEM SDI Pro ISO is a four-channel live production switcher built for broadcast-style multi-camera work.

It takes four 3G-SDI camera inputs in 10-bit HD, each with re-sync and a built-in standards converter, so cameras running slightly different formats still lock together cleanly.

An operator cuts and mixes the show live from the integrated hardware control surface, with physical buttons, source selectors and a T-bar, and mixes sound through the built-in Fairlight audio mixer that carries 6-band EQ, a compressor, a limiter and a gate on every input.

What sets this model apart is its ISO recording and streaming.

Over USB-C it records the live program output plus all four SDI inputs as separate H.264 .mp4 files at the same time, and it generates a DaVinci Resolve project file so the whole event can be re-edited camera by camera afterwards.

Its Ethernet port streams straight to YouTube, Facebook or any custom RTMP destination without a separate encoder, and the same USB-C port can act as a clean webcam feed for a laptop.

It runs on a 36W external 12V power supply. In short, it is a compact broadcast desk that switches, records and streams a full four-camera SDI production from one box.
