The Blackmagic ATEM Mini Extreme ISO is an 8-input HDMI live production switcher that cuts between up to eight cameras, records every input separately and streams straight to the internet from one desktop unit.
It is built for advanced multi-camera HDMI live shows in Sri Lanka.
This is a compact professional live production switcher built around eight standards-converted HDMI inputs and three HDMI outputs.
You feed up to eight HDMI cameras, laptops or media players into it, then cut and mix between them live with a hardware control surface made for the pressure of a live event.
On top of clean switching it adds multiview monitoring, upstream and downstream keyers, DVE, chroma key and two media players for graphics and lower thirds.
What sets the ISO version apart is that it records all eight HDMI inputs plus the finished program feed as separate H.264 MP4 files at up to 70 Mb/s, and generates a DaVinci Resolve project so an editor can rebuild the whole show camera by camera afterwards.
A built-in streaming engine pushes the program feed directly to YouTube, Facebook and custom RTMP or SRT destinations over Ethernet, with no separate encoder PC needed.
Audio is handled by a 26 x 2 channel Fairlight mixer with two XLR mic inputs, and a USB-C output lets the whole thing act as a webcam for video calls.
It works in HD up to 1080p60 and runs from an external 12V power supply.
