Does the built-in extension rod on the Osmo Mobile 7P work with heavy phones in portrait mode?

The 215 mm extension rod supports most smartphones up to the gimbal's weight limit. Heavier phones may need balancing adjustment via the DJI Mimo app before extending. Test your phone's stability in both orientations during pickup.

Can I use the ActiveTrack and fill light features without installing the DJI Mimo app?

The Multifunctional Module hardware works standalone for basic fill light, but ActiveTrack and full gimbal controls require the DJI Mimo app via Bluetooth 5.3. App availability and feature sets vary by phone OS - verify compatibility before your rental period.

Is the 368 g weight comfortable for all-day wedding shoots in Sri Lankan humidity?

The Osmo Mobile 7P is among the lighter smartphone gimbals available, though extended use in humid conditions will cause hand fatigue. Plan rest breaks and consider the extension rod for two-handed grip options during long events.

Will this gimbal survive unexpected rain during outdoor shoots?

The Osmo Mobile 7P has no official water resistance rating. During monsoon season or unpredictable weather, carry a rain cover or plastic shield - water damage is not covered under standard rental terms and full replacement costs apply.
