This is a professional 4K PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) video camera built around a 1/2.8 inch 8.51-megapixel CMOS sensor that captures UHD 3840x2160 video at up to 30fps.
A single fixed camera covers a whole room because the head pans up to 340 degrees and tilts up to 120 degrees, and the lens gives 12x optical zoom plus up to 15x digital zoom.
That range pulls a wide group shot and then punches in to a tight close-up from the same mounting point, so one unit does the work of several fixed cameras.
Movement, framing and zoom are driven by the included IR remote, a joystick controller, or network control over RS232, RS422 or IP, and the camera stores up to 255 preset positions for repeatable shot recall.
Where it earns its place is connectivity. HDMI, 3G-SDI, USB 3.0 and IP/LAN outputs all run at the same time, so the camera can feed a hardware switcher, a streaming PC and a network destination together.
It encodes H.264 and H.265 over IP and speaks the streaming protocols that live production relies on, including RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS, SRT and ONVIF, with VISCA over IP for control.
It powers from AC mains or over a single Ethernet cable using PoE, keeping ceiling and wall mounts tidy.
AI auto-tracking and zone tracking keep a presenter framed automatically, so a talk or service can run without a dedicated camera operator.
