A 1000W halogen video sungun light that gives a strong, warm tungsten glow for video and photo fill, event and stage washes, warm-tone shoots, and general work lighting.
It runs straight off mains power and is ready to aim in seconds.
This is a 1000W halogen "sungun" video light: a classic tube-style continuous light that has lit shoots and events across Sri Lanka for years.
It runs a single 1000W halogen tube directly off 220-240V AC mains and pushes out a bright, warm tungsten-balanced light of roughly 3200K.
Because it is a continuous source and not a flash, what you see is what your camera or your audience gets, which makes it easy to set up and easy to judge on the day.
The head sits on a standard light-stand bracket, tilts to aim where you want it, and has a built-in dimmer knob so you can dial the output up or down for exposure without moving the light.
The warm 3200K colour is its signature. It renders skin tones in a soft, flattering way that suits weddings, interviews and warm-toned scenes, and it pairs naturally with tungsten and warm ambient light.
It is a genuinely bright single source, strong enough to work as a main key or a broad fill at close to medium range.
You can leave it as a hard direct light for punch, or add an umbrella, diffusion or a wall bounce to soften it for portraits.
There is no colour changing, no battery and no wireless control here: it is a straightforward, affordable, plug-in workhorse.
Do remember that a 1000W halogen tube runs very hot, so it needs careful handling and a cool-down before packing away.
