An AVMATRIX capture card that takes either one HDMI or one SDI video source and feeds it into a computer over USB-C, so your laptop can stream or record a professional camera feed.

This is the AVMATRIX HDMI and SDI to USB 3.1 Type-C video capture card, a compact metal device that turns an ordinary computer into a live streaming and recording workstation.

It has two inputs on one unit: one HDMI 1.4a input and one 3G-SDI input.

You connect a camera, video switcher, camcorder or console to either input, and the card sends that picture and sound to your laptop or PC through a single USB 3.1 Gen1 (USB 3.0) Type-C cable.

It captures uncompressed YUY2 video at up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 60fps, with data moving at up to 200MB/s so the image stays clean for streaming or editing.

The card is fully plug-and-play, needs no drivers, and takes no separate power because it runs entirely from the host USB port.

It is UVC and UAC compliant, which means the computer sees it as a normal webcam and audio device, so it works straight away in OBS, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Twitch and most editing software on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Automatic input signal detection picks up whichever source is live, and a 3.5mm stereo line-in lets you add a mixer or wireless microphone feed on top of the audio already embedded in the SDI or HDMI signal.

The SDI side accepts the full range of broadcast formats, and the whole unit is small enough to sit next to your laptop at any shoot.
