The SmallRig SC-1K is a strong vacuum suction mount kit that locks a GoPro or action camera to a car body, windshield, window or any clean smooth surface for vehicle POV. Flip the lever, confirm the vacuum, and shoot.

The SmallRig SC-1K is a suction cup camera mount kit built to put a GoPro or action camera on the outside or inside of a vehicle for point-of-view footage.

It pairs a strong vacuum suction base with a lever lock and a ball-head arm that carries a GoPro-style two-prong adapter, so the camera holds firm to a car body, a windshield, a side window or any clean, smooth, non-porous surface.

Press the base down, flip the lever to pull a vacuum, and the mount grips without screws or tape. The ball head lets you set and lock any angle, from a level driving shot to a low, close-to-the-panel view.

This is a mount kit, so the camera is not included. It is a passive, manual rig with no motor, battery or cabling, which keeps it light at about 0.24 kg and quick to move between shots.

The patented double-layer cup adds a second seal for extra hold on glass and polished panels, and the GoPro-style fork accepts a GoPro Hero, a DJI Osmo Action, an Insta360 and most two-prong action cameras, with a small camera possible through an adapter.

It is rated for roughly 1 kg static and about 0.3 kg while the vehicle is moving, so it suits action cams and small, light cameras rather than heavy DSLRs.

Renting the kit lets you capture a professional car POV, a bonnet shot or a rolling low-angle sequence for a single shoot without owning gear you will use only now and then.
