Its 15-element optical design includes ED and aspherical glass, while the quiet direct drive SSM autofocus suits both stills and video work.

Wedding photographers in Sri Lanka use this lens for ring shots and bridal details, while product studios rely on it for jewellery, food menus, and textile catalogues.

It also works as a short-telephoto for headshots, graduation sessions, and corporate profiles on Sony Alpha bodies.

Why Choose This Product

Sony SEL90M28G: Manufacturer-verified Full-Frame Macro Prime Lens - we'll source the exact model when we add this to our fleet.
90mm Full Frame Size / Capacity: Sized for the typical professional or event use case.
Key Specifications: 90mm f/2.8 full-frame E-mount macro prime, 1:1 magnification, 0.28m minimum focus, 15 elements in 11 groups, 9-blade circular aperture, 62mm filter, Optical SteadyShot, dust and moisture resistant.
True 1: 1 Macro: Reaches full life-size 1.0x magnification at a 0.28m minimum focus distance for frame-filling detail of small subjects.
Sliding Focus Ring: Physically slide the focus ring forward or back to switch between autofocus and manual focus without leaving the eyepiece.
Focus Range Limiter: Three-position switch restricts the AF travel to full, near or far ranges so the lens locks on quickly in macro or portrait work.
