A UGREEN 9-in-1 USB-C docking hub that plugs into a single USB-C port on your laptop or tablet and adds 4K HDMI, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, three USB 3.0 ports, an SD and TF card reader, and 100W charging.
It is tested and cleaned before every rental, so it just works on the day.
This is the UGREEN CM498 (model 15600), a 9-in-1 USB-C multi-port adapter in a slim gray aluminium alloy housing, about 174 g and roughly 11 x 19.5 x 2.3 cm.
It plugs into one USB-C port on your host device and expands it into nine functions: a 4K HDMI output, a VGA output, a Gigabit RJ45 Ethernet port, three USB 3.0 Type-A ports at up to 5 Gbps, an SD card slot and a TF (microSD) slot, and a 100W USB-C Power Delivery pass-through port.
The hub is bus-powered from the host USB-C port, so there is no separate power brick to carry.
The 100W PD port lets you plug the laptop's own USB-C charger into the dock and keep the laptop charged while the other ports are in use.
It is a hub, not a stand-alone device, so it always works connected to a USB-C host.
