Question 1

What's included when you rent the UGREEN Wireless Microphone?

Accepted Answer

You get 01 x UGREEN clip-on lavalier transmitter mic, the wireless receiver, and the monitoring and connection cables that ship with the unit. Bring or rent the phone, tablet or camera you want to record onto, as that is not included.

Question 2

What do I need to use this microphone?

Accepted Answer

You need a phone, tablet, camera or laptop to receive the audio. The lavalier is the transmitter and it pairs to the receiver wirelessly; the receiver feeds your recording device, and you plug wired earphones into the 3.5mm monitor jack if you want to hear yourself live.

Question 3

How far can I move from the receiver?

Accepted Answer

The wireless link is designed for short-range use of around 10 metres in clear line of sight. Walls, bodies and other wireless signals can shorten that, so keep the receiver within view of the mic for the cleanest audio.

Question 4

Is it good for vlogging and social video?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It clips to a collar or shirt and captures clean, hands-free voice for vlogs, reels, TikToks and product reviews, which sounds far better than a phone's built-in mic.

Question 5

Can I use it for interviews and podcasts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The omnidirectional capsule captures the wearer's voice evenly, so it suits sit-down interviews, guest podcast setups and piece-to-camera talking. For two speakers far apart you may want a second mic, so tell us and we can suggest a pairing.

Question 6

Does it reduce background noise?

Accepted Answer

It has switchable noise reduction that trims steady background hum and room chatter. It works best indoors and in quiet outdoor spots; very loud environments will still bleed through.

Question 7

Is the microphone tested before delivery?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every mic and receiver is charged, paired and checked for clean audio before it leaves us. If anything is not right on the day, contact us and we will sort a replacement.

Question 8

What ID and deposit do I need?

Accepted Answer

Sri Lankan customers need a National Identity Card and a refundable security deposit. Foreign customers need a passport. The deposit is returned after the unit comes back in good condition.

Question 9

What is the minimum rental period?

Accepted Answer

1 day (24 hours). Daily, weekly and monthly rates apply, with better value on longer rentals. Ask us for a quote for your dates.

Question 10

Do you deliver in Colombo and island-wide?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Colombo and suburbs get same-day or next-day delivery, and we deliver island-wide on a scheduled basis. It can be combined with other rentals in one delivery.

Question 11

Will it work with my camera?

Accepted Answer

The receiver feeds audio out over its 3.5mm jack, which suits cameras with a 3.5mm mic input. Tell us your camera or phone model and we will confirm the right cable before your booking.

Question 12

What happens if it is damaged or lost?

Accepted Answer

Normal wear is expected and not charged. Damage or loss caused by mishandling is charged at the actual repair or replacement cost from the deposit, per our rental policy.
