What do I need to use this microphone?

You need a phone, tablet, camera or laptop to receive the audio. The lavalier is the transmitter and it pairs to the receiver wirelessly; the receiver feeds your recording device, and you plug wired earphones into the 3.5mm monitor jack if you want to hear yourself live.

The wireless link is designed for short-range use of around 10 metres in clear line of sight. Walls, bodies and other wireless signals can shorten that, so keep the receiver within view of the mic for the cleanest audio.

Yes. Colombo and suburbs get same-day or next-day delivery, and we deliver island-wide on a scheduled basis. It can be combined with other rentals in one delivery.

The receiver feeds audio out over its 3.5mm jack, which suits cameras with a 3.5mm mic input. Tell us your camera or phone model and we will confirm the right cable before your booking.

Normal wear is expected and not charged. Damage or loss caused by mishandling is charged at the actual repair or replacement cost from the deposit, per our rental policy.
