The Yongnuo YN660 is a slim, handheld LED video light wand built around an all-in-one grip.
It draws 45W and delivers a measured 14993 lux at 0.3m, with a wide stepless colour temperature range from 2000K warm white to 9900K cool white and a high CRI of 96 for accurate skin tones and product colours.
The wand combines 672 white lamp beads with 120 RGB SMD emitters, so the same light handles clean bi-color video work and full-colour creative lighting from a single unit you can hold in one hand or clamp to a stand.
Control is what sets it apart.
A touch panel on the body adjusts brightness and colour directly with a thumb, and an optional Yongnuo smartphone app and a wireless remote let you change settings from a distance when the light is off-camera.
It carries 31 built-in effect modes such as lightning, sunrise, party, police, fireworks and pulse, plus a 1/4 inch threaded mount for tripods, light stands and gimbals.
Power comes from a 12V 5A DC adapter for indoor shoots or twin NP-F970 type batteries for mobile, run-and-gun work, which makes it an easy grab-and-go fill light rather than a fixed studio fixture.
