Get a live camera feed onto the internet or a LAN

A dual-mode HDMI and SDI video encoder and decoder that turns a live camera or computer feed into an IP stream, and pulls a stream back to a screen. One small box, both jobs.

This is a professional streaming bridge, not a simple cable converter. It works two ways.

In encoder mode it takes a live video signal in over HDMI or 3G-SDI, compresses it in hardware with the H.264 or H.265 codec, and sends it out over your network as an IP stream.

In decoder mode the same unit does the reverse, pulling an IP stream down off the network and outputting it to HDMI or SDI for a monitor, projector or video wall.

That means one device can act as the sender at the camera end or the receiver at the display end of a live workflow.

It accepts input up to 4K over HDMI and up to 1080p60 over 3G-SDI, and it speaks the full modern streaming stack: NDI HX for low-latency video across a local LAN, SRT for reliable delivery over the public internet, plus RTMP and RTMPS, RTSP, HLS, UDP and ONVIF.

That range covers YouTube Live, Facebook Live, custom RTMP servers and NDI production switchers such as vMix, OBS and TriCaster.

You set the protocol, bitrate and destination from a web browser on the same network, so no dedicated software is needed for a single-camera stream.

The unit has an aluminium alloy chassis and connects to your network over gigabit LAN.

It runs on the supplied DC adapter, and many variants also accept PoE, so a single Ethernet cable can carry both data and power where your switch supports it.

This is a generic streaming encoder-decoder, so it is ideal when you want camera-to-internet or camera-to-LAN video without buying a fixed broadcast unit.
