A portable bonded-cellular live streaming encoder that takes your camera's HDMI or SDI feed and streams it reliably over 4G, WiFi and Ethernet at once. Go live from almost anywhere, even where there is no fixed internet.
The LiveU Solo PRO is a portable bonded-cellular live streaming encoder.
You feed it a live picture from a camera through its HDMI 2.0 input or its 12G/3G/HD/SD-SDI input, and it encodes that feed in HEVC (H.265) or H.264 at up to 4Kp60 and a maximum bitrate of around 20Mbps.
Instead of relying on one internet connection, it bonds up to six IP links at the same time: four external 4G/5G cellular modems over USB, built-in WiFi, and RJ-45 Ethernet.
LiveU Reliable Transport spreads the stream across all of them, so if one carrier weakens or drops, the others keep the picture flowing. The result is a broadcast-grade uplink you can carry to almost any location.
It is built for going live where there is no fixed internet.
A 2.2 inch display with a jog wheel lets an operator start, check and control the stream on the unit itself, and it runs from a battery, USB-C power (45W minimum) or an AC adapter, so it keeps working through a long day in the field.
It streams to standard destinations such as RTMP and SRT endpoints, CDNs and social platforms, and can push to more than one at once from a single encode.
In Sri Lankan live-event and news work that means outdoor weddings, temple and church services, school sports days, conferences and AGMs, press conferences, and remote news hits can all go live reliably from the ground.
You supply a camera, SIM cards with data and any LiveU account needed for the full cloud workflow.
