The Tilta Hydra Alien Mini shock-absorbing arm (HDA-T15-C-DB, Desert Beige) sits between your camera and a car-mount suction base and soaks up the bumps, so footage from a moving vehicle stays smooth.
Rent it in Colombo from Rentitem.lk, ready for your shoot day.
This is a vibration-damping support arm from Tilta's Hydra Alien car mounting system.
It connects a small camera to an electronic suction base fixed to a car or vehicle body, and a hydraulic damping arm in the middle isolates road vibration before it reaches the camera.
The result is stable, cinematic movement on the kind of driving, chase and POV shots that would normally look shaky when a camera is bolted straight onto a vehicle.
The arm is CNC-machined from aerospace aluminium alloy and weighs about 0.98 kg, so it is compact enough to reposition around pillars, mirrors and bike frames.
The electronic suction base runs on a rechargeable 2000mAh USB-C battery that monitors grip on the mounting surface.
It is rated for a camera up to 0.6 kg, which covers action cameras like the DJI Osmo Action, DJI Pocket 3 and Insta360, plus smartphones.
As part of the wider Hydra Alien car mounting system, it pairs with cameras and mount parts you can rent alongside it, so you can build the exact rig your shot needs without buying a full kit for one production.
