This is a vibration-damping support arm from Tilta's Hydra Alien car mounting system.
It connects a small camera to an electronic suction base fixed to a car or vehicle body, and a hydraulic damping arm in the middle isolates road vibration before it reaches the camera.
The result is stable, cinematic movement on the kind of driving, chase and POV shots that would normally look shaky when a camera is bolted straight onto a vehicle.
The arm is CNC-machined from aerospace aluminium alloy and weighs about 0.98 kg, so it is compact enough to reposition around pillars, mirrors and bike frames.
